It’s said that a lot of people were fed with a couple of fish and a few loaves of bread. While we’re no miracle workers, we are very drawn to a good fish supper, usually washed down with a couple of pints of lager and a packet of crisps. Inevitably, that’s going to end up with freshly brewed coffee to blast out the cobwebs the following morning, and so…
That’s How Booze Fish Coffee Is Born
We’re not claiming to be the first travelling salesmen to come up with this concept – spending countless hours on the road is no mean feat for even the most driven employee with sales targets to meet.
Live hard, play hard is the motto with which we live, spending the days selling our wares to unsuspecting businesses across the land, and the evenings telling stories (that are often heavily fabricated) to whoever will listen in that particular town’s bars.
What Do We Sell?
Well, that’s a tough one. Officially, we’ve hinted at it already – we sell posh coffee machines to cafes, bars, restaurants and offices, but there’s a lot more to it. When we hook a big sale, we make a lot of money. The fact of the matter is, though, that sales can be few and far between, and while we’re happy to shift a few hundred dollar’s worth of gadgets to a restaurant, it doesn’t really finance our heady lifestyle, let alone keep us food and watered for long. That’s why there’s all manner of warranties, beans, attachments and so on to go with the range, but also a nice sideline in glasses, cups and other fancy looking crockery that will look the part in any upmarket social spot. As with most businesses, it’s the extras, particularly the consumables (pardon the pun) where the real money spinners come in.
Some people find it odd that we don’t really use the web to drag in new customers. If you’ve found us here, it’s far more likely that you’ve bumped into us late at night, or while we’re stuffing our faces with our favourite fish dishes in a restaurant we probably can’t afford to frequent.
Either way, you’ll have seen our loveable side – and that’s the side we want you to remember. That said, if you want to buy a coffee machine, we’d love to hear from you!
